Scinbed Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Or they could just leave the server and play somewhere else. Which is what I do when I get a laggy host. Quote
st0lve Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Use that, with lightweight, marathon and commando, with a pistol with knife attachment, and you can't loose. I have like 200 more losses than wins, because I always quit servers due to lag. Not a problem for me imo, since I don't care about the stats. But what annoys me, is when a server is good until like 4000 points, then some bitch ass sister (of the host) goes on youtube and fucks it all up. What do to, get the additional 2k xp or leave with whatever you got? Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 I beat Modern Warfare Mobilized and the last level made me , the last boss is a automatically closing door that fails the mission if you don't get past it and the game ends with a 30 second touchscreen minigame while the real bad guys get away scott free. Your only accomplishment is recovering the nuke that you were supposed to have gotten in level 1. There's no good reason the bad guys just don't flee with the nuke anyway instead of setting it off, the mission's out in the middle of nowhere in an oil refinery, and they have a ton of time to set up everything while waiting for you to grind through the red shirts, and they get away anyway, it's not like it was a last stand for them. It totally took out any feeling of accomplishment there could've been to beating it. Quote

Zyn Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Apparently it has been patched today to fix that glitch, but I read that it's not on the Xbox Quote
Mazy Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Well updating it on the Xbox means a title update, and that costs monies after your first one (or two?), but given how large a role the MP plays in MW2 then I figure they didn't have to ask anyone for permission to do it. Quote
st0lve Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 I read somewhere that they would actually ban people from XBL if they used the glitch. Anyone want to confirm that or not? If it's true, it's pretty damn harsh. Quote
ctswin Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Only for a day up to a couple of weeks, don't cheat kids! Quote
Pampers Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 having tons of fun topstatting with knife/pistol and a throwing knife Quote

I was under the impression they tried to do as much with config files as possible - so that simply connecting to IWNET would update a few files and clean out any bugs without having to actually release full-on patches. Whether this is fixable like that.. who knows. Quote

Well that is true, but from what I've heard that is limited to them changing playlists/game modes and such in the game, and only accessing existing code. I'm pretty sure this is classified under bugs a would require a more fundamental fix, but yeah, who knows if they have some genius system where they can actually patch it in without a title update Quote

Grinwhrl Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Played 5 different games tonight with some guys from work. Every game had been hacked in which everyone had infinite ammo. Quote
Pampers Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 yeah recently there have been alot of cheaters that is completely ruining games, calling in nukes etc...then your whole party have to leave and form a new lobby and look for a new game again since you cant votekick the cheater, maybe the host can, but fuck know who that is.
