I can't decide if I like the automated chopper better or not. I guess it depends on how they handle the players character on the map during. I don't know if it's necessarily over powered though. I mean in COD4 if someone called chopper and you didn't have cover you were pretty much dead...now player competency is a factor so overall there must be a decrease in kills.

heat-tracking, auto-lock-on, wall-penetration.

that's some pretty fucked up shit right there.

at the same time it's a nice idea and i think it's pretty fun looking.

it does seem strange to me that chopper/harrier kills count towards your killstreak, that was never the case before (people actually used to call a chopper, get killed, and THEN the kills would count - which is at the least, undesirable), now it really does seem like you just have to get that first call-in and you're pretty much set.

"Games graphics is awsome. Online is shit for me so far. Its the same setup as Xbox360.... right down to no ping just the 5 green bar strenght level crap.... Have tried to play 15 games only played 3 so far.. Host quits , Time outs , Host quits during game , players quit before timer finishes and start wait all over again... blah blah....

i dunno, i like the atmosphere the cod engine can create, the actual content when you break it down is not mindblowing but it is pulled together very well. they must have great leads and a fantastic art director.

a guy from work said he completed the SP in around 5 hours, but it was a nonstop 5 hours of joy with only 1 mission seeming a bit "filler".

a shame, i feel a bit iffy about paying more for less (it took me about 8 hours to do the cod4 SP).

IWNet doesn't look that bad. In fact, I welcome it though I still think features such as being able to see your ping and having access to the console should of been included. Wait; features? - these have been the staple to most online games since forever. What gives? :?

does it really matter if its some bars or a number? Blizzard has been using this green/orange/red bars system for over a decade and it works fine. This is a lot easier to understand for more casual players.

Real numbers give more information and ping is something a lot of people think about as they play. L4D doesn't show ping (Uses the bar system) but lets you access net_graph which shows information (Ping/Choke/Loss/etc) on your hud.

Heart beat monitor in mp seems a bit overpowered dont you think? Look their he is behind the wall, shoot through wall, kill player. Its like wall hack without cheating. Maybe its a nice feature, I would really like a demo of this game though. To many ifs about it.

The default FOV is 65 :cry:

Saw a scan of the manual's control page which claims the game actually DOES have a console, but then someone else claimed that they just copied that stuff without editing it from COD4, so the jury's still out if this game is completely unplayable or not.
