dux Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 £35 is expensive. I'll end up borrowing this from a friend for the SP or get it second hand as it's never going to drop much in price. COD4 is still £29.99! Quote
st0lve Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Eminem seriously? Is Nexus at yo PR dep? Quote
FrieChamp Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Got mixed feelings about the choice of music in the trailer but one thing's for sure: the singleplayer does look promising! they blow up the frickin' ISS - America fuck yeeeeah Quote
Seldoon182 Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Ah! Ah! Can't wait the Call of Duty 7 response from Treyarch! Quote

D3ads Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Fucking Hell, people can bitch all they like about the multiplayer being "bad" but if anyone complains about the single-player experience then they need to die... that was fucking awesome! America in flames, with sububurn houses blowing up all around... and COD in space?! Holy fuck! MW3 is going to have to be in 3D to beat this potential gem! Still, I'm kinda dubious about what is trying to be achieved here... I mean with the terrorist section it's supposed to be all gritty and in-your-face and then you've got something that looks like it's from NOLF's space level... it kinda all feels a bit like a cross of the former title and Arma II... But.. shit, I might even preorder this mother... worst music choice for the trailer though, would have got 10/10 if it wasn't for that annoying wigger grunting over the action.. ugh. Quote
st0lve Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 MW3 is going to have to be in 3D to beat this potential gem! But MW2 is 3D.... Almost all FPS games are Gah, someone find me a place to a digital copy with $ currency, my laptop gets way to hot with a DVD running while playing. Steam is fucking ~$20 more than what I'd pay for a hard copy. Quote
D3ads Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 I meant like proper 3D as in UP! and Toy Story 3... My sister works at HMV and said they've got 200 copies of the game already, if only the public knew... Quote

Since I'm in Norway, with a strong currency, another example (normal hard copy costs about 450kr): $60 = 345kr €60 = 510kr Easy pick. Besides, I still want a digital copy, because of the laptop. I see no reason why I should pay MORE for a digital copy than for a hard copy these days when everyone wants to be so friendly to the environment. Quote

I watched a video of the tutorial and first two levels and it might as well have been an on-rails light-gun shooter, for all the choice the player had in actually playing. Heh. "Stand still and shoot those guys!" "Get driven around on the back a humvee and shoot those guys!" "Follow those guys into a building and shoot those other guys!" "Oscar mike actually hooah motherfuckers!" Quote
-HP- Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 What would you expect for a consolized FPS in 2009 Jetsetlemming? Quote
FrieChamp Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 A Call of Duty title a linear experience? NO WAY! Quote
