MrH2o Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Does anyone know the value of an Asus GeForce 8800GTS 320MB. I have one I want to sell but im unsecure how much I can charge for it (very sparely used). Would appreciate any tips about price for this or similar graphic cards (since this one isn't produced anymore). Thanks in advance! Quote
Furyo Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 I wouldn't be shocked to see a 150 USD price tag on it. Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Less than $100, maybe $80 to $90. Tt's used. The 8800GT New is like $115: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 1&Tpk=8800 Quote
Defrag Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 The 320MB cards are the older type of GTS (old version came in 320/640 MB flavours, new one generally comes with 512MB), so you won't get that much for it I'm afraid If the 8800GT is $115 new, then the 320MB GTS would probably retail for $80 new. I reckon you'd be looking at something like $50-60 for what you're selling. http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/article.h ... VzaWFzdA== Quote
Furyo Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 huh, didn't think it had gone down that fast over the last months... Quote
Thrik Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Graphics cards depreciate so quickly it's insane. Quote
Defrag Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 huh, didn't think it had gone down that fast over the last months... It's because his is the old type of GTS. The new GTS is better than the 8800GT, the old one is worse. NVIDIA's product naming convention is, as usual, baffling. Quote

Well I didn't even know there were two different GTS models, except for the 320 and 640MB ones when they just came out and the GTX was the top of the line. I used to have a 640 GTS myself, which died along with some zombies in L4D late last year Quote
