I'm at Ravenport. What difficulty mode are you guys playing in? I'm playing in Hard and so far it's been pretty easy. The only part I've had to try more than probably 2-3 times has been a small sewer where I reached a save point with only like 20 health and a swarm of 6-8 of those flying blade things surrounds me.

I played it on medium, or normal.. what ever the middle one is.

Now im just exploring with cheats ;D

i love the graphics.. so far the gameplay hasnt impressed me much, and headcrab zombies look a little bit comical.. i love the manhacks tho

Dog is about the coolest character i've ever seen in a game.

like, yeah, halflife 2 is the best game ever!! but whats up with the dog? it was ok, not "OMFG TAHT DOG OWN3D SO MUCH I ALMOST CRAPED MAH PANTS WHIEL PLAYNG!1!!111!"

i dont get it... its like all those kids loving that stupid character in starwars (dont shoot me for that comparison, it was a bad one )

it's an artificial character twice over... a robot inside a computer game---yet it's been imbued with such sincere animation and behavior that i felt genuine affection for the thing. i dunno but that means something to me.

a robot inside a computer game... yeah, never seen that before:P and the animations were okay, sure. But so's the animations in all good games... (max payne, halo, all those ww2 games medal of honor etc)

i still dont get it maybe some of you have a dog-thing, and this character makes it possible for you to come out of the closet secretly

the animation on dog is better than any game you listed, and probably any game ever. it was astoundingly good.
