He sure does like shooting digital. Shit often feels weird to me, Collateral being a big offender.

Zodiac was incredible looking and shot digitally. I dunno wtf Michael Mann does or doesn't do but Miami Vice and Collateral felt off. Make your shit look like a movie not a home video.

Anyway, this looks interesting.

I will agree that miami vice failed big time... But collateral is amazing! Great characters and dedication went into actual research and etc to make something very visceral. And you cannot forget Heat!

Also the guy is brilliant at giving you a solid gunfight and topshelf action i mean check out his nike commercial:
