CrazyMAC Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 So as most of you know i work for a games pr agency. We help run the Edinburgh Interactive Festival, it's a 3 day long conference and game screenings. It's open to both industry and public folk alike. Excuse the cheesey sales video, but it will give you a better idea of what goes down and who in the industry we attract. It's been going for about 7 years now and i've been apart of it for 4 years. This will by my fifth year and after 2 years of relentless nagging i've taken over control of the games screenings. If any of you have games coming out towards the end of the year and would be interested in showing the game at EIF09 please drop me an email chris.tufnell@bhpr.co.uk Even if you don't have a game to show off, the conference would be a perfect place to ram new technology and ideas into the face of some big names....or just come for the social side I'm also hoping to get a small area setup for mods to show of their stuff. More on this soon though. Quote
FrieChamp Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 This could be a cool opportunity for people who don't have the cash to have their own booth at E3! Quote
CrazyMAC Posted February 11, 2009 Author Report Posted February 11, 2009 This could be a cool opportunity for people who don't have the cash to have their own booth at E3! Indeed, this is what i'm hoping for. I would like people to just be able to turn with a disk and demo the mods. This will depend heavily on sponsorship though. But will let you know how it goes. Screenings will go ahead whatever. Quote
