KungFuSquirrel Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/57004 I'm sure some of you read the Shack already but I figured I'd post it anyway... It's a bit late, but these are some impressive steps on Epic's part . Sounds like a beefy map pack is on the way, too. I also love any game that will allow retail CD keys to be activated on Steam. Unfortunately not many outside of Valve products do it Here's a link to the ridiculous changelog, also via the Shack: http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/56939 Quote
Minos Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 Awesome! Might make me wanna give the game another try. Quote
-HP- Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 Oh, this is awesome! Just registered my UT3 key on steam! Awesome! Might make me wanna give the game another try. Indeed, cos UT3 really was a disappointment for me. Quote

Jetsetlemming Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 I bought UT3 for ten bux during the Steam holiday sale, haven't gotten around to installing it yet. Good timing. Hopefully once this hits the game'll have a real playerbase, right now even the PS3 version has more players than PC Quote
Warby Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 # # Major enhancements to Server Browser # Visual and menu flow overhaul for improved useability of user interface. ^^ that better not be fluff but for real !!! because these 2 factors were what destroyed the game for me ... and than the color correction post filters and dof D: sounds awesome though that you can register the game on steam now ... i will definitely do that =) Quote
Zacker Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 Sounds great and a really nice move from Epic considering the age of the game. Quote
Deathy Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 That's a massive changelog there. Awesome. Quote
e-freak Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 Sounds great and a really nice move from Epic considering the age of the game. well the game isn't really old... the good devs support games for 10 years at least great move. just registered mine on steam and dl now. really never cared about the patches as i was only toying with the editor and automatic updating sounds absolutely awesome.
