Nineaxis
Here's my first map for TF2 to reach beyond a pre-alpha stage. I'm pretty proud of it as a first map. It's a single stage payload map, pretty much the same as Badwater in terms of setup (2nd cap pushes back RED, 3rd cap brings up BLU). I know there are a few visual bugs in it right now that I need to fix. Current Build: Beta 3 Download: TF2Maps.net or FPSBanana Thanks for taking a look! -Nineaxis
e-freak
looks cool, a little too little contrast in the zone of the first screenshot...
dux
It looks quite good but the one thing I find in the shots, especially the rocky ones is a lot of emptiness. Fill it with some life!
-HP-
Indeed, aesthetically, looks empty and lifeless. Some top screenshots would help, so we could see the design! Welcome to the core btw!
The Horse Strangler
Welcome man, It's safer here . Aside that, I agree with the posts above me. This looks well on it's way to being a great PL map, It's not visually cluttered like some, while it looks to never loose it's art balance either. The best thing you can do is wr out some external lighting, and some minor detail. Bit more foliage and wood structures and such.
Nineaxis
I just realised that the tf2maps.net link was to the wrong file and fixed that. I've been getting the "needs foliage and wood structures" comment pretty consistently from everyone who has reviewed it, so I guess that is something I'll be working on for the next release.
