Getting Back Into It

Hey all,

Been a few years since i've posted - i have been reviewing some of the great content here, however. Anyhow, now that i've completed my BA and on break from working on my Paramedicine degree, i figured i would see i still had some of those photoshop skills left. Below is something i just began throwing together. Nothing too complicated, no details yet - just a base texture with a window. Ill post here as i find time to progress. Any and all feedback is welcomed.

Photoshop skills? yeah, they'r still there I guess...

logical? Don't think so...

Something look weird on that texture. Maybe It's the scale, maybe It's the rock texture, not sure.

It looks like a closeup photo of a beach rock, with a miniature photo of a window stamped on it. Try to wash the rock layer a lot more, make it look a lot more like concrete, and less like gigantic rock. So far, the rock layer has too many information for my taste, and It's too grainy / noisy.
