John Wick is one series of films that I readily say fuck yeah when I learn they're making more.

I really didn’t get what they tried to do with Day of the Soldado. I dunno maybe Emily Blunt didn’t want to be on a second ride so they made up this weird parallel universe type of story.

It probably would stand alone quite well (although I’m not convinced the story makes as much sense)… but I don’t manage to judge it on its own.

This scene is cool but doesn’t top the border scene from the original. I’ve noticed the sniper has the cartridge collector, but I don’t see the point of such detail if all the others don’t have them.

The border scene is indeed amazing. I'm not sure which film I prefer, I go back and forth depending on my mood.

About this movie, this scene is staying in my head...the music, the view and and the feeling of the upcoming tension...wow !

I watched Sicario at the cinema (remember those times) and I kinda wanted to go back in once it was finished lol.

Slight tangent promotion, @Bunglo @El Moroes if you love Sicario you will probably also love ZeroZeroZero… it was directed by Sollima, the same director behind the camera of Day of the Soldado. I recommended in the “watched recently” some months ago. the Mexican cartel scenes will give you chills.

I think I remember seeing promo for ZeroZeroZero and was planning on starting it but somehow completely forgot about it.
