Buddy Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 What's up with the way the dude is shooting though? (Other than that looks cool) Quote
jaboo224 Posted February 7, 2010 Author Report Posted February 7, 2010 how has the spark editor panned out? Is it nice? Im currently learning UDK but am pretty interested in the spark editor. Is there a pros and cons list of the editor out there? Quote
dux Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 - pros realtime, no compiles - cons alpha and crashes sometimes Quote
Zacker Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Looks very promising and true to NS! There is however clearly a long way yet before this gets anywhere near release state. Quote

dux Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Without it we wouldn't be making it anymore. Quote
sarge mat Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Worth it to check out the editor. Worked out at £12 for me, that's f all really. Quote

Agreed...anyone else feel they parted with there cash a little early on the preorder I guess you're the type of gamer who'd rather buy another installment of COD: Modern Warfare than support a more decent cause and a bunch of decent developers... Skjalg Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Not that NS is in any way shitty, but how is this a more decent cause? Theres actually people that are dependent on the cod series doing well as well. Quote
Gloglebag Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 But in reality CoD is gonna sell well regardless if individuals that care about games and devs buy their games. I would think NS is a lot more dependent on the more knowledgeable individuals and their choices then CoD. I know I'm more inclined to buy a good game at full price that sold shitty like Mirror's Edge then Mass Effect. It doesn't help that the choice often comes to one or the other and I can't split the money in a fashion I think is fair. Quote

Actually i'm not ;o and you know that Sind, because you know me . I guess this time i'm sat on the other side, so from my perspective things look quiet. I'm so used to knowing a games campaign structure. I'm looking forward to NS2, but like all excited little gamers i want things now ;D~. I'm hoping the game release will be around the same time as Edinburgh Interactive Festival. Spoke with Charlie about it last year but nothing was ready to show. Quote
Seldoon182 Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 COD ≠ NS2 because CONSOLE ≠ PC Quote

Grinwhrl Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 I'm surprised this has not been posted yet. I still do not like the alien designs. If I am playing a game with space-marines, I cannot vision fighting mutated zoo animals in space. The overall environments and cinematic look great though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= Quote
