I wonder if this is the same workflow philk used for his awesome space texture set ! Quote

Sa74n Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 while i do like marcus dublins work in general i dont think his texturing style he uses on the ns2 assets is very fitting. it lacks the contrast, volume and punchiness of corys concepts and ns1 texture work. to me its partcicularly obvious with the hive model and texture. but then again it might turn out looking good as long as its consistent with all the other assets. dux Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I do agree that it lacks the contrast and "cory" look but, well, we'll see how it goes. One thing that I wonder about is how you will dispatch a skulk chewing on it as it will have a lot to hide behind which will make things difficult. Quote
Rick_D Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 No it's from scratch. Which editor the devs use to make the lvl design task? A in-house editor? They are using the incredible In-House Engine. Quote
Rick_D Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Yeah that single textured metal cube sure looks sweet! Quote
