Steppenwolf Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Even tho i'm confident that Obama will win its kinda scary to think about that 45% or so of americans will still vote a guy who looks like he will die any moment and behind him a completely moronic woman. And that after 8 years of Bush  Quote

Jetsetlemming Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Just heard a radio commercial claiming Obama's health care plans will cost 50 million Americans (1/6 the entire country) health care. Despite it being universal healthcare. It then went on to accuse the plan of making a "bureaucrat" in charge of health care instead of a "doctor". You'd think the McCain campaign had never heard of an HMO or insurance company before. Quote
dux Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 McCian reminds me far too much of bush. He's going to win. Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Current polls are 44% for McCain, 52% for Obama. It's pretty solid at this point. Going to vote this afternoon (have to wait for a ride). Quote
twiz Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Live election results: http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/ Lots of interesting stats/polls/pie charts : http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/ Get out and vote, Americans. I was at my polling place at 5:30 this morning waiting in line, there was a ton of people there. At 6:30 when the polls opened I'd guess about 250 or so people were there. Parking lots were packed full, it was excellent to see that kind of turnout. Quote
Chunks Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 I'm going after work today at 5, but to be honest if it looks like i'm going to be waiting in line for 4 hours I'm just going to go home. Meh. Quote
Spellbinder Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Hehehe. I don't dare say what i am thinking. So instead i have to ask, are we sure this isn't a kind of parody in SNL or something? Isn't famous people like sport, movie and music people meant to keep their opinion about politics for them self? I remember that girlband every one bojcotted because they said something about Bush and the war. The Dixie Chicks? Quote
st0lve Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Yeah spelly, there actually was an documentary on SVT1 on saturday or sunday I think it's good that they actually said what they feel. Their vote count just as much as Joe the buttcrack. Quote
