sarge mat Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 ":1t8f6mff]How's and what's a British feeling game? Sentura, I'm totally with ya dude. Everyone sounds like they are from England for one, but I did here one guy from Northern Ireland Hard to describe it can only be experienced. Everything from the art to the music. Quote
Mazy Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Its last on my list of games to play at the moment. Got Dead Space and Far Cry 2 to get through first. I'm looking forward to it though with all the good reviews its been getting. Quote

Ascard Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 Wow, not a single yellow or red review at time of writing: ofc not that would be blasphemy O.O Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 http://www.destructoid.com/destructoid- ... 9131.phtml 75/100, gives the game a lot of criticism and says the score was bumped up only by the fantastic ending. Quote

dux Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 What I don't get is why do they release a strat guide for £19.99 when you can just go to gamefaq's or something Quote
sarge mat Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 What I don't get is why do they release a strat guide for £19.99 when you can just go to gamefaq's or something Because its Microsoft and the like money. Been years since I got one of thouse, IMO Fable is better played with out one. Quote
Thrik Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Hah, I've never understood the appeal of these strategy books. It seems so much more fulfilling to discover the techniques and puzzles of a game yourself — it's borderline cheating. The only time where those books are kind of cool is when they're full of exclusive concept art and stuff, but I don't know if they still do that. Quote
Taylor Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 They always put in a bunch of stuff you can only find with the guide. Probably just to help sell the guide. This doesn’t sit well with my OCD. Reviewers usually get code a few iterations behind and operate under the assumption the bugs will be fixed. I’ve heard a lot of people complaining of crashes and a couple who had to restart because of a bugged quest that prevents further progression. This really annoys me, I've never had a single problem with a console games crashing or having game breaking bugs... until this generation. Where we have net access and hard drives, so even console games are getting released with a "patch it later" attitude. Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 It's 360-only isn't it? Like usual, MS won't admit there's a PC port, but they keep spamming Rock Paper Shotgun with news and info anyway so :-| Quote
Pericolos0 Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 I played it for about 3 hours now, really liking it! The storytelling is awesome, graphics are hit and miss, can be really beautiful sometimes and pretty bad at others, like that first dungeon you go through. Characters look cool though i think =), but their faces could use some more expression. The dog is awesome! I love his animations and how he finds treasure for you =). Also I'm not sure if i'm imagining things but i keep hearing the voice of that guy who plays Baldrick in Blackadder. Quote
