BioWare & Lucas Arts to announce KOTOR MMO?

Despite Electronic Arts president John Riccitiello's earlier confirmation of a BioWare-developed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic MMO, the two companies have been otherwise mum, the cat remaining halfway in the bag.

But looking at that teaser image, there doesn't seem to be much room left for wild speculation. The rest of the invitation reads: "BioWare and LucasArts invite you to attend the official unveiling of the game that's been rumored about for years."

October 21st is the conference, a proper Star Wars MMO would definitely be something that I would look forward to (just so my dreams can be crushed again when the game is set to release :-| )

I think it's a given that it's Star Wars. The font, style, and everything just screams it. Although I did hear a funny suggestion that it's the Loom MMO the other day.

They need to pull out some seriously persuasive stuff to get my attention at this point. Bioware are getting kinda watered out at the moment in my opinion, and Star Wars is really overabundant in mediocre content, definitely not a sure hit, if its real that is

Screenshots look rather underwhelming to be honest ( is up with those over scaled lightsabers?) and I haven't heard of any features yet that got me jumping up and down here. Not impressed :-|

Obviously you have never played it then because the combat in eve is boring; push button, do nothing for 5 miinutes, next target. Twitch shooting is far better.
