michi.be
I'm thinking about seriuosly selling game-engine ready assets and training videos on the web. I browsed around a lot of sites but it seems there is a lot of low quality crap out there. Maybe some of you guys have some experience with this topic. Is there a good platform to sell stuff? Should I simply open up my own plattform for selling? I have several ideas for offering content with good quality for a fair price. But have not a good idea on how to get people on the site or find others which want to sell their stuff there.
Sindwiller
There's of course Turbo Squid. Dux may elaborate further.
st0lve
There are quite a lot of these selling assets for different Torque games. Most aren't exactly top quality so if you make something big and good, you might actually get something out of it.
-HP-
Yeah, i guess Turbo Squid is definitely the most known website for this. Although you can find very good stuff and, and very low quality stuff, which the late is more likely!
2d-chris
Most professional development studios out source work, but they are to certain guidelines on a per project basis. There is a small market for amature developers (I think) but the problem being they usually don't have much money to spend - if any at all! If you could produce a real high quality set of generic everyday items it might sell, as they are the most likely to be outsourced.
