-HP-
Very nice man, actually I didn't knew that site, so thanks! Here's an update btw I gathered dozens of reference material for this piece, way before I started modeling it, here's two refs pics:

-HP-
thanks Nysuatro, yeah, that's a problem indeed! Running kinda low on free time the last few days/weeks, but here's a few progresses, low poly stands at 7500 tris, which is more or less my budget. I worked on the HighP a little bit more, here's two cool renders I made with this technique: http://boards.polycount.net/showthread.php?t=60887
D3ads
Aliens mod?
-HP-
lol, nope guys, I'm not working on a Aliens mod! I would be shut down sooner or later by Fox, so what's the point... Plus, I'd rather practice my env art skills for now! I'm gonna neeeed it! Anyways, here's another speed texturing entry over at GA. I did a quick high poly, baked in xnormal, made a very quick difuse and specular. Specular is very poor imo, it could be alot better but it was what I managed to do within the given time. AlexM
the handle is nice, but the metal/top part seems a little to white and flat the gun is looking very sweet
-HP-
the handle is nice, but the metal/top part seems a little to white and flat Yep I know, I made it flat on purpose, because I thought the viewer I used (marmoset) supported real-time reflections, I intended to do some very chromatic metal at first but failed, either the viewer don't support it, or didn't figured out how to do it. -HP-
Little something I decided to do today, a doom3 style prop... I'll see if I can find the time to texture it next week.

D3ads
The style is so Doom 3 there, nice job
-HP-
Thanks dude, that's exactly my goal, I hope to achieve it! I guess I'm done with the difuse, I don't want to over scratch it, as most of the stuff was pretty much clean in doom3, and the texture already has more 'information' and grundge than I had in mind when I started this. Now onto the specular, and It's done!
-HP-
Although I said the diffuse was done, I decided to add a few more raw metal discoloration, and try to make it look more like stainless steel material. I still havent made the spec tho, will do that tomorow. Having lot's of fun with this prop tho!
