Awesome! Congrats on interview...and eventually a job hopefully. Back in the DoD 1.3 days you helped on one of my maps, dod_switch, that eventually took over earth (wait...no it didn't) but it came out well enough to go official and i knew you were probably going to go further as a mapper than I ever would.

Keep us posted on how it goes! :banjo:

I just came back from the most awesome job interview ever. You might think job interview as a 1 hour process, nope. Make that 6 hours. I got a chance to talk with the most famous game designers and artists in the industry and I tell you - time flies when you have that kind of chance. This place is of course like many speculated - Valve.

I can't describe how rich experience this was to me. I mean I can easily now go back there and do better, I got the feedback I needed and got an insight look to their design philosofy. I learned so much. I just had an experience not many game designers ever get a chance to experience.

Too bad I didn't get the job but I won't stop here. They promised to keep the doors open for me because I was told that I'm talented and a bright guy with great ideas and thoughts about game design. I just need to keep going and do what I've been doing before. More work, more maps.

Oh and I got a chance to play Left 4 Dead.

Congrats Arttu :) Sorry you didn't get the job, I really had my fingers crossed. But at any rate, this kind of experience is invaluable, and I'm sure it'll help you on whatever else oyu might be doing in the future (and now), as well as being a tremendous help on your next potential job interview. Also, they practically paid you for this, so it really was a win-win situation :)

Now get cracking on your next map!

*cracks whip*

Oh, and

skdr :D

Yeah, you know... Of course I'm disappointed but I have to think about the positive side of the whole process. I met some amazing people and learned a lot. I just have to try harder and try again later.

How exactly did you not get the job, Skdr? Your TF2 work is fantastic, on a par with Valve's stuff... Why did they turn you down?

As I was just about to say
