Grinwhrl Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Wow, "Oddly enough, Endrant was widely laid off today: http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/w ... elease-day " Hope you werent affected by this Zeta :/ Quote
Grinwhrl Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Sorry to hear Zeta. Day of release, unbelievable. No time to give developers time to feel accomplishment. :/ Quote
Sentura Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 as if developers need anymore reason to stay away from activision... Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Afaik endrant isn't owned or controlled by Activision, so I'm not why they'd be to blame. They could've maybe given Endrant more contracts or something to keep them profitable but they're not exactly beholden to further deals. Quote
Erratic Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 I'm a few hours into the campaign and enjoying it. Gun's feel good and Nazi's die nicely so I think it pretty much covers the basic expectations. The hub town is pretty neat, I remember some talk about open world elements way back when the game was first announced, didn't think any semblance of that remained. No kicking in doors is a downer, but having them shot open and closed is pretty cool. I tried to play a bit of the MP but connecting to a game takes forever and loading isn't all that snappy. From what I gathered though from the bit I played, the MP is a shadow of RtCW's. It really doesn't even feel like the single player game very much, movement feels totally different and clunky. Kind of odd. How seperate were the .exe's? Quote
-HP- Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Ah damn zeta. I'm sorry... What's wrong with this fucking industry? Quote
Patrick_H Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Apparently, id/Activision are admitting the troubled state of Wolf MP and are asking for suggestions: http://www.wolfenstein.com/board/viewto ... =16&t=1191 Quote

Otherwise my suggestion would be "Remake ET" Quote

dux Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 Not an entirely convincing review from what was said. Raven seem to be going downhill a bit? Quote
