EDIT: The Character & Environment design is perfect, animations are amazing... let the gameplay be that good too!

I want to see more gameplay tho, what's this game about anyways?! A shooter? A racing game? Does anyone even know?

Rage looks good and the concept sounds good, and I hope to god it IS good, because ID's back is against the ropes from Doom 3 and Quake 4 and I'm not sure they can recover from another game poorly received. Plus if Rage is good that's all the more reason to be optimistic about the new Wolfenstein.

Rage is a part racing/shooting/exploration/adventure game. You have races, you have arena duels, you have shooting up people, you have exploring the game world trying to solve the story.

Q4 was... , I'm still not sure why ID did not handle such franchise on their own and gave it to another company... and well the results of this move are widely known.

I like to pretend that Quake 4 was its own game and in no way related to Quake 2. Was a much better game that way

This looks very good. I hope they're going for a rich world full of interesting characters and writing, because it looks like they have an engine that can deliver it fantastically and much better than the Fallout team's effort.

I tried out Quake 4 recently, seeing how it would play.

I didn't make it past the first level, jesus christ the GREEN. It made me physically ill to play it. I liked the machinegun they gave you, it felt fun, but I couldn't take the visuals.

Hahaha yes, when I played Q4 for the first time, there was green everywhere.

Maybe your video card is outdated, I had the same problem. I changed it for a new, better one, and everything was fixed.

Quake 4 is a nice game and really catchs the feeling of the good ol' Quake 2 (though Quake 1 is still my favorite game in the Quake series).

Concerning Rage now, damn, it looks gorgeous, it looks like Fallout indeed. ID Tech 5 is really incredible.
