All your hate with wanting to make Diablo 3 a darker game has manifested itself into your Windows explorer.

Heh, seriously though, I don't know. This usually happens on the desktop if you use a PNG image for a wallpaper.

But I've never seen it happening in the explorer windows before...

Did you change anything recently that might have to do with this?

Have you tried rebooting or force restarting explorer.exe?

could be a DirectX related problem (I remember having problems with displaying transparent graphics when DirectX fucked up once)

just change to classic style theme, and change to XP style theme again, that should do it.

yep that should do it indeed. (right click desktop -> properties -> theme's -> pick classic from the dropdown box. wait a couple of seconds and do the samething but pick windows theme (or any theme you want..))

Aye thanks for the suggestions chaps but I already tried those the moment it started playing up I'm not sure what else it could be. I did a few scans and stuff and it seems to have stopped for now!
