My birthday is March 28th. Reaper of souls comes out March 25th. I know what i want for my birthday. Also , fucking easter should have been early 2014 like this year. Would have been perfect to be free from work just 3 days after the release and game for 4 straight days

Joy of joy, people! Patch 2.0.1 landed this week, and it has changed the game a lot for the better, as I have been playing it all day every day since Wednesday. Almost all abilities tweaked, legendaries have special properties that are build-changers, new smart loot system called Loot 2.0 implemented (i.e. no more Intelligence on Barb belts, or Dex on weapons when you are Wizard, etc), paragon level cap removed, etc.

I am actually having fun playing it now, my Demon Hunter doesn't get oneshot of every mob any longer on highest difficulty, something that made me stop playing this, and with the implementation of clans and communities, the chat is buzzing. I am kind of looking forward to the expansion now, as this patch has really done the game good.

Patch is great! Gameplay is much much better and after having beta-tested Reaper of Souls i know that it will be really really good.

 

Still Think the Demon Hunter is weak tho, hopefullt i can loot some good shit for him now (got 3 set-drops for him already this week).

 

Great stuff, even my brother is playing now, and he fucking hated Diablo 3.

I agree. I told myself I'd try it for 15 minutes and it ended up being 3 hours. Replaced all my gear in the first hour. I wish this is what the game was the first time around, but better late than never.

From the video it sounds like they put a band aid on a severed leg. D3's skill system is so inherently flawed that none of these changes can ever make up for it. The paragon points just made me laugh.

Got back to the game as well, leveling up a Barb for RoS (there's a 50% XP boost right now btw)

Hows the new loot 2.0 going for you all? Got the Blackthornes 4-set now. Actually only Blackthorne drops for my barbarian. 2 belts, 2 chests, neck, boots, pants. WTF. Now i need to make another character, a tank

New loot feels awesome. Really enjoying it. 

 

I wish damage didn't scale so damn high though. I'm hitting for 100k atm, and it just feels a bit ridiculous. It'd be nicer if hitting for like 1k or even 10k felt really good. Bring it all back in a bit.

I only have Blackthorne's belt. I need to keep going.

 

I really wish legendaries wouldn't bind to your account after 2 hours. Not sure why they did that but it makes holding on to legendary items for other people useless (I've found a number of legendaries great for my bro's Monk but terrible for my Barb, but unless I tell him to jump online immediately I can't give it to him. Sucks).

Haha, i got 2 more Blackthornes yesterday. So far i got Legs, 2 Chests, 1 Neck, 2 Boots, and 3 belts. I really don´t want more Blackthornes drops.

We've learned that getting any Blackthorne-piece is a defeat, because it's the worst legendary set at 60. Clan-chat erupts into "top lel" whenever someone gets one. Also, 2-handed weapons are still bugged and roll stats equal to 1-handed ones...
