Sprony Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 That's probably a good idea. I would also like to get kissed before I get fucked Blizzard :S Quote
PogoP Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 Ok, fair enough that I cannot log in to the Battle.net servers, they might be down for maintenance. But why the fuck can I not play a game I paid £45 for? Diablo 2 had singleplayer 10+ years ago, so it's not exactly some kind of futuristic technology. Fuckin money grabbing bastards. What also pisses me off is that eventually, the Blizzard servers will go down permanently. What if Blizzard somehow loses all its money and has to shut down next month? I will never be able to play this game ever again. Game itself is fun though. :derp: Quote
dux Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 lol I haven't been able to play for 3 days. Whenever I want to play after work the service is always down. Best DRM ever. Quote
Taylor Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 I propose that if you were to generate 100 sets of loot from the Butcher in Act 1 then, on average, any character that's not a wizard would be undergeared to tackle Act 2. And I mean die-in-4-hits undergeared. You literally need to grind or use the RMAH to progress. Even the bosses in Act 4 drop shitty level 56-59 blues of no use to anyone. The carrot-on-a-stick of finding incremental upgrades is completely gone. Quote
Marvin.Star Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 I've quite enjoyed jumping from character to character as I progress. My Witch Doctor is fun but I always have to evade enemies and snipe them *pew pew*, if that ever becomes a little tiring I just hop onto either my Barbarian of Wizard and smash some fools, feels good in contrast. One of my characters makes me feel smart and shifty, the other makes me feel like a beast that just keeps on trucking through enemies! Anyone else play more than just one character these days? I notice most of my friends have pretty much just one, but personally I would not enjoy it nearly as much if I didn't have a few. Quote
Skjalg Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 After I reached level 60 I didnt have any incentive to play more. So I guess thats it for me. Quote
Zyn Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 So now there's a preview for the next patch: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/6262208 ... _2012#blog - Inferno Act II and beyond no longer a brickwall, made out of unobtainium, coated with a titanium alloy, surrounded by a cloud made of flying scorpions, at the center of the Sun. - Repaircosts ramped up to have you spend even more time goldfarming. - Gems cheaper to upgrade. - Monsters no longer scale up in damage with more players. - Increased Attack Speed on items fixed ... and nerfed (my Demon Hunter is not pleased). - Garaunteed rare item drop when five Nephelim Valor stacks. - Set droprates per act for items of higher item-levels. - Legendaries not being vendor-trash. - Blacksmithing still useless. Taylor Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 The Nephalem Difference changes seem to suggest people will just chain kill rares/champions now rather than wasting their time on boss encounters. Quote
Marvin.Star Posted June 7, 2012 Report Posted June 7, 2012 So now there's a preview for the next patch: - Inferno Act II and beyond no longer a brickwall, made out of unobtainium, coated with a titanium alloy, surrounded by a cloud made of flying scorpions, at the center of the Sun. . lol. Yay, that means when i finally get to inferno it might not be ridiculously hard Quote
PogoP Posted June 7, 2012 Report Posted June 7, 2012 I'm really having a blast playing this game. I'm a level 58 Monk at the moment, and playing with a friend. So much fun! Can't wait to tackle Inferno mode. Quote
