Now I expect to fall asleep any second and then wake up just in time for Guild Wars 2 stress-test (just 7 hours long, starts at 20:00 CET, collides with D3 release god damnit), and then ... 4 hours later ...

If you download the new downloader client, and run it pointing at the old folder you got, it will download the necessary files so you don't have to start over.
