Jenn0_Bing Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 Valve ahve said no Ep3 at E3 . http://kotaku.com/5020376/will-half+lif ... ve-says-no Will Half-Life 2: Episode Three Be At E3? Valve Says 'No' According to E3.net and various excited internet reports, Half-Life 2: Episode Three will be making its debut appearance at E3, just a few weeks away. According to the site, it will also be joined by titles like Kid Icarus and Animal Crossing for Wii. That'd be great news, if E3.net were the official E3 site, as some reports have claimed, and not an unofficial UGO owned web site. According to Valve's marketing director Doug Lombardi Half-Life 2: Episode Three won't be making an appearance at E3 this year, with the listing chalked up to a "misprint (or something)." We would assume that if Valve is showcasing anything at E3 this year, it will be Left 4 Dead which is planned for a November 4 release. Quote

Buddy Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 D00M IV fuck yeah ! Blizzard and Her Interactive are two companies most dedicated to PC gaming, and they're part of a few members who have left the association this year. id Software, LucasArts, Vivendi, NCsoft, and Crave Entertainment were the others officially reported to have given up their membership. Izuno Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 damn. i am actually in LA at that time and i wish i could go anyone have a ticket they dont plan to use? Doesn't work that way anymore. E3 is back in the LA Convetion Center but it's all in one hall and there are no huge booths and it's not a giant sensory overload like it was in pre 2007 years. You can't give away extra passes anymore simply because extra passes essentially don't exist. And instead of 65000 people attending it will be around 5000, most of which are people who work at publishers/developers, retail buyers and press or investors/analysts. While there will be games on display, it's not a big production anymore. IF anyone is going and wants to meet, I'll be down there Tuesday in various meetings with people(s). Hopefully i'll get to tour the convention floor but not sure yet. Quote

Algor Posted July 10, 2008 Report Posted July 10, 2008 That could be one of the worst top 10 lists ever. They even state they are only going to use games with little exposure in their criteria, but most of the games on that list have been in the spotlight for a long time. Quote
dux Posted July 10, 2008 Report Posted July 10, 2008 Gametrailers are useless at everything. Remember their award for best graphics? Quote
