Dear ShaDoW,

We use inhouse engine which utilises 2d backgrounds and 3d characters for cutscenes. I'm responsible for all Voice Acting, Steve did all character models and mocap editing and Tim painted/rendered all 2d backgrounds (which were inspired by other games such us Oblivion and RTCW). We've put 10 years of hard work to make this thing happen! I'm glad You all like it.

I picked up a copy of this yesterday- I just couldn't resist.

I recorded a video of the intro and first ten minutes of gameplay. All the backdrops in this starting area are from Return to Castle Wolfenstein- The Wolfenstein jail RtcW starts in, the cathedral at the end of the first part of the game, and the zombie-filled catacombs that lead to the Cathedral.

I'm being pressured over at Something Awful to do a Let's Play of it now after recording that.

Comedy update: Word is that the publisher (TriSynergy) is as shocked as everyone else about this but couldn't reach the developers yet for a statement because they are on vacation!!

And the first part of the music is actualy "O Fortuna" from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. I would bet my bollocks that they haven't licensed the music.
