Minos Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 My driving license expired in january, I still haven't renewed it Whaa? Expired? Crazy Brazilians Here it takes like a lifetime before they expire. Mine doesn't expire until 2054 The first license (called temporary license) expires after a year. if you don't get any fines in a year you are eligible for the final license, which expires every 5 years. I just hope no cops find me driving with an expired license, otherwise I'll lose it... (and consequently having to wait for another year until I'm eligible to get the temporary license again) Quote
Thrik Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 So you just renew it every five years without any problems? Quote
kleinluka Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 i've never owned a driver's license...or a car....one day.. Quote
Minos Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 So you just renew it every five years without any problems? As long as you pay the fees yeah (it's just another way for the governmenta to steal our money actually) Quote
dissonance Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 I got mine last friday, and a car yesterday. I miss power steering. And power brakes. And power windows. And a radio. But fuck it. Quote
Ginger Lord Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 So you just renew it every five years without any problems? As long as you pay the fees yeah (it's just another way for the governmenta to steal our money actually) You keep sticking it to the man. Uninsured/unlicenced drivers can rot in hell to be honest, if some uninsured driver crashed into me I'll be taking my payment in flesh. Quote
