zaphod Posted July 4, 2008 Author Report Posted July 4, 2008 This morning I woke up and realized we had no 4th of July themed hat, so I took care of that Also, a very enthusiastic Zero Gear fan (ok, my wonderful girlfriend) decided to make an entirely physical version of our sock monkey character, complete with a Zero Gear butt-label! Awesome!!! Have a happy and safe 4th of July everyone! Quote
PogoP Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 Zaphod, you may very well be a game design god. Quote
2d-chris Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 barnacles!! haha, these vehicles are full of so much character they actually become the character for me. Quote
Furyo Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 You know each update you post has me smiling, but the butt logo was just too much I'm still actually giggling typing this. You have an awesome design right there, both the game and the merchandising. Please go all the way, take all the time you need, and release a gem. You've gone this far already, I want to see this game enter the IGF and win major awards Quote
zaphod Posted July 6, 2008 Author Report Posted July 6, 2008 Thanks for the confidence Furyo This has turned into the most personally important creative thing I have ever started, and I am going to use every bone in my body to make sure it gets finished the way we envision it. here are some starfish on a sand dollar wheels for the pirate ship (or any kart) Quote
Algor Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 brilliant stuff. it must bring a tear to your eye to see people getting so involved as to making knitted monkeys Quote
zaphod Posted July 11, 2008 Author Report Posted July 11, 2008 updates will be slow for a little bit . . . I am doing some other contract work so I don't become destitute. Quote
zaphod Posted July 14, 2008 Author Report Posted July 14, 2008 It has been a little while since we posted an update - Brian has been a little bogged down moving to another apartment in San Fransisco, and I have been slightly derailed doing some non game related contract work to bring in some more development funds. But here is just a little feature we got working last weekend, a "look-back" key that you can press to check out what it going on behind you. I think it will be very useful! http://vimeo.com/1329610 Quote
Nysuatro Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 I think it goes a bit to slow. Looks cool anyway Quote
