Zero Gear - an indie multiplayer kart racing game

We recently got the 12th and last map before release put into the game. It is a little hard to appreciate how many maps we have made over the last 2 years, so I decided to put them all together in one graphic for visualization.

on the game progress front, we are back to having closed private beta tests every week, and we hope to move to an open beta at the end on November.

it's called Zero Gear because a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, we made a list of a ton of different words and phrases and put them in a bag and mixed them up and that was the combination we thought sounded good

Hey guys, we just got our build back onto Steam - and we are going to be ramping up testing quite quickly in the next 2 months. I have some keys to give away specifically to mapcore but I want to give them out to groups of people that will actually play together. Post here if you know up to 8 other people that you are sure will try out the game with you (in your office, or other people you play steam games with) and I will PM you 8 keys.

We will be having a simple sign up soon with many more keys but we have a few old ones laying around I want to give back to my mapcore homies.

yep, you might want to delete your local content though and re-download the whole thing again. We have noticed some of the very old files from the previous builds messing about with things.

I managed to nab one of the 8 from the steam community update today, I was mapping when it was posted so I jumped on it.
