But Turkey has absolute no sympathy left... They kicked Swiss with luck and they kicked Czech with brutality and a whooooooole lot of luck. I would have give way more yellow or even red in this game... The behaviour some of these turkish players showed today was exactly what I'd call a Kanacke. And in the end they stretched time alot (Turkish anwer to czech kicking the ball 2 times out due to some turkish player being on the ground instead of doing easy bash on the goal?)

"Kanacke"? Man that was uncalled for. emot_shakehead.gif

The Turkish got a bit lucky of course, but in the end they won because they didn't let themselves down, fought for every ball and pressurized the czechs until they scored. I didn't see more brutal fouls or time stretching than in any other game to be honest..

As for the Portoguese - from the scenes I saw it looks like the referee was pretty bad and the entire A team of Portugal was sitting on the bench. Cool that Switzerland won though, it's a nice goodbye for them and their coach.

I watched every match of the Euro Cup so far and the things you listed have been done before by numerous teams, Germany being one of them (see Schweinsteiger). That doesn't justify the actions, but it seems to me that you are measuring the teams with different scales.

Anyway, the Turkish won, the Czechs are out. Germany vs Austria in a few hours, can't wait :)

Oh boy, what's going on with the offensive play of the German team? It seemed that Jogi Löw the German coach was the most offensive part of the team last night! They played way too safe/defensive and threw away chances wherever they could. The only goal resulted from a free kick. Instead of scoring Gomez disappoints a little more each match, inaccurate passes by all players, the only slack you can cut them was that the Austrians were fouling constantly, but sometimes it seemed the Germans were just waiting to get a free kick, because they didn't know where to go with the ball. With that performance I had the feeling any other team would have kicked them out.

Maybe Löw takes out Gomez, Podolski plays at his position, Schweinsteiger ramps up the team's offensive play, everyone else steps up a notch too and somebody kicks Ronaldo so hard in the nuts that he has to leave the field crying, then, "maybe" then, there is a chance to beat Portugal.

France vs Italy and Romania vs Netherlands

LET THE DRAMA ENSUE!

As always, to be honest. I hope this is his last year as a coach, this guy really sucks ass.

We have some good players in this team, but teamplay doesn't even exist in our team. :zoidberg:
