Zeta Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Update to the first tf2 custom map - cp_lazytown. The pictures here are from a slightly older copy of the map but are still pretty much representative of the final version (excluding the dev textures on the chimneys ). Features: Improved visuals New gameplay routes Forward spawns that move up as teams gain ground Custom models and textures Download: http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/55691 Extract the .bsp out of the bspzip file into your tf2/maps folder. Extra: I'll be releasing the model set for the map seperately (at present they are zipped in the map) sometime later this week. I'll also be releasing the vmf at some point in case anybody wants to make an edited copy. Cheers, Ryan Quote
Freak Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Lazytown is one of my favourite tf2 maps so i´m really looking forward to play this one. I hope the changes are as good as they look and hopefully you´ve changed the last part of the map a bit, it was partly impossible to win there.. Quote
DvS Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 I'll also be releasing the vmf at some point in case anybody wants to make an edited copy. Cue cp_busytown_NITETIME_2009_LoAL_REMIX. Anyway, class stuff as always Quote
Jenn0_Bing Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Very nice visual upgrade, hopefully i'll ahve the chance to play it soon and check out the game play adjustments. Quote
Mr. Happy Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 NoNONONONONONONONONONO I'm sorry, but I absolutely hate lazytown. Well, hopefully you've taken steps to balance it, and make it fun. I.E. fixed the horrible timings on respawn and point capturing etc. Make routes that allow scouts to be suefull, etc. It sounds like you've changed the layout a bit so that's good. Still, I wish you would poor your efforts into a completely new, not incredibly flawed, design. But I'll give it a fair chance Quote
The Horse Strangler Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 Me too, lazy town was complete crap, I hope you blanaced the map far more then just gave it a makeover, it needs to be a bit smaller too. From the original I mean. Quote
