Anyhow, looks amazing, very amazing. Good thing I'm buying a new computer later this year Only thing that bothered me was the lod's snapping early on. Well, well, first trailer I guess.

It's a proprietary engine as far as I'm aware. It's definitely a far cry from Far Cry, but then it does seem to keep the real defining characteristic of the original: an absolutely massive area that you can approach in many different ways.

The engine is Nomad, and it's a revamped version of the original CryEngine (heavily modified). I personally only hold my expectations for it to be some above average title due to the fact Clint Hocking is the creative director.

I believe Ubisoft is calling it the Dunia engine, and it uses very minimal code from CryEngine.

Furyo does work for Ubisoft, so I guess they're saying it's the Nomad engine now.

I did not know that . But, most of their new videos (as recent as May 28th) they have the "Dunia Engine" logo on the front. Thats what i was basing my comment off, and an interview i read somewhere.

Yea a quick google search proves that, but I also remember them using the "nomad" title for the engine some time ago. Maybe they changed it because the Crysis hero's nickname is "Nomad"
