D3ads Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Amazingly, there's no game I regret buying, I've been quite lucky really. Quote
KungFuSquirrel Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Battlefield 2 (hard locked 5 seconds in on two entirely different computers after it took me a half hour each time to bind my controls) Indigo Prophecy (get over yourselves, it's a button-mashing simon says pile of shit) Perfect Dark Zero Quote
e-freak Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 ":3vhxen29]This is why I still refuse to buy Crysis (although I'll have to buy it as soon as I start with the Uni (they are using Cryengine 2)). What?! See for yourself: http://www.crytek.com/news/news/?tx_ttn ... cee6a0a157 Quote
Erratic Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Dungeon Siege, I wanted more Diablo action rpg goodness and got a passive, party management RPG. Your characters attack on their own accord without any need for user input. FUN. I'd much rather watch a game than play it... Quote
ReNo Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Dynasty Warriors 6 about 2 weeks ago. I don't really deserve any sympathy though. Quote
JohnC Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Perfect Dark Zero Oh man. I got a copy with the 360 we bought and I still felt ripped off. I actually played it again after Halo 3 became as exciting as a glass of warm milk, it's good for a laugh. Quote
Punky Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Supreme commander very ugly graphics and it ran like crap on my brand new pc What, I love the game and the graphics look kinda good for an RTS. And untill now there is only one game I regret buying: WorldInConflict, I played it for maximum 4 hours and got bored already... Quote

I can't remember the first Dungeon Siege having that kind of thing. Quote

I can't remember the first Dungeon Siege having that kind of thing. The first. It's been awhile since I last played it but it distinctly remember you not needing to click on any enemies for your character to engage them. The whole thing just felt very automated. It seems small, but it really broke the game for me. Quote
Algor Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Indigo Prophecy (get over yourselves, it's a button-mashing simon says pile of shit) Yeah, unfortunately I made the same mistake, but at least I think I got the game for around $20. I also regret getting Super Monkey Ball on the Wii on launch day.. argh what a pile of garbage. Played that for a total of 10 minutes before I sold it. Same story with Mario Party 8. Quote
madgernader Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 Battlefield 2142.... I actually liked BF2, but then they killed it with patches and expansions and released this pile of garbage that cut down on maps and classes and just killed it for me. TES3: Morrowind When I swing a sword at a guys face it should make contact, not take another 20 swings to hit. >=( Quote
