jackophant Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 I think Siberia V2s are one of, if not the most overrated, over priced headset going. That said, I hope you feel a difference as well. It'd be good to know what you think when you get them Quote

It'd be good to know what you think when you get them They seem pretty decent so fair (I was using them last night during those games on MM and the playtest). They most definitely have better sound quality than the siberia's and I can pinpoint areas sounds are coming from easier. I wouldn't use the 7.1 virtualisation though as it seems to just blend sounds more. You can be the judge of microphone quality. A little more heavy and uncomfortable than the siberias though, might need more time to get used to them. jackophant 1 Quote
jackophant Posted March 20, 2015 Report Posted March 20, 2015 It finally came! However, I need to send this bad boy back, there is a bundle deal right now on Amazon where if you purchase before the end of March, you get a free shield controller and shield tablet flip cover/stand for free! (It also comes with Portal, HL2 and HL2 Ep1) All in all, a really cute 8" tablet, with some serious extra features! <3 Vaya 1 Quote
jackophant Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 does it run hammer? The re-delivery arrives today so I'll have a poke around and see what I can do Quote
laminutederire Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Hi, haven't purchased anything yet, but might need a short advice. I'm feeling the need for a controller to play some games on my laptop, and I already have a wireless xbox 360 controller, since the adaptor cost nearly half of a new controller designed for pc is it worth the trouble? Because it seems to work relatively randomly with windows upgrades.. If someone has an idea, I'd be grateful! Quote

blackdog Posted March 30, 2015 Report Posted March 30, 2015 I don't like the chinese fakes after the battery pack failed so quickly and was such poor built. I just bought a couple weeks ago the Xbox One controller for PC (I had an Amazon gift card from xmas) and I'm happy with it, although I haven't been able to play much. Pressing the Xbox button starts Steam in Big Picture and games work with it no problem where supported. The unsupported still work but lose the nice feeling of the analog movement. Quote
laminutederire Posted April 2, 2015 Report Posted April 2, 2015 Thank you all for answering something, not like some friends who told me that controller are for weaks ^^ to play cs it may not be perfect but some games do require one to be playable Quote

You have to enable configs to get it all running and you will be out aimed. I vaguely recall a download to stabilise the 360 wireless controller. It would be worth googling for a patch or something along those lines. On the topic of purchases, my partner and I gathered our resources and bought ourselves a car! First large, joint purchase for us! (ermagherd we're all growed up) 100% best bit about it is the lumbar support because I'm such an old man :'( Not trying to be showy, I'm just really excited and didn't know who to share with! laminutederire, Squad and Vaya 3 Quote

I know I have a mice for counterstrike it feels more natural, but it is nearly impossible to play nba 2k15 without a controller while feeling comfortable And Congrats! Your car looks cool! I guess the color helps too Quote
