What have you purchased recently?

Nice display Fmpone! I recently read a few roundups to see how much would it cost me for building a machine from scratch.

How much?

I'd jump to 27" but I'm afraid my budget wouldn't allow to get a good one so maybe better spend that money on a 24"(?).

 

It was about $530 on amazon. Very happy with it so far

I got myself a HP 32" and I have to admit is a little bit too big, you'd think bigger is always better but 24" / 27" really is the sweet spot.

Shame you didn't get Mario 3D world, it's a great game, make sure you pick it up down the road. Also, WiiU Party is a great game to play with friends. (Stay away from nintendoland, meh)

 

Also, get infamous for the PS4.

Gave my computer a little upgrade, wasn't too expensive and way faster than my old Radeon 6950. The game Daylight was included but I have no plans to even bother with it.

And right after I bought it, they bundled WATCH DOGS with the card, just my luck ... however, it got more expensive because of it.

A friend told me about a japanese book store close to Irvine and I went there this weekend... that place was like heaven for art books and just cool shit in general. Now I know where to spend my monies~

 

This has probably become my favorite art book ever. It's fucking trippy to see his drawings in a large format.

 

 

This is a super hard book to find apparently (I had never heard of it before). It contains art from Final Fantasy X, XI, XII, XIII and a bit of A Realm Reborn. Lots of great refs and inspiration on this one, totally worth the money. Would buy again A+++

 

Really cool book by a chinese artist. It's awesome to see how oriental heads think about art and the cool tricks they use for composition, storytelling etc...

That does sound cool. I miss the days of old comic book shops, and the random cool shit you'd find there. Not much of that going on in my city.

I just got this same graphics card when mine died, actually. Pretty cool! 

 

I love how easy it is to install graphics cards. Take out the old one, put in the new one, plug it in, and boom, you're done.

Did a little pc upgrade.. havn't done any in over four years so it was about time. All in all I only ended up spending 250$!
