-HP- Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 True, you get Hulu, Vudu, netflix and Amazon Prime, amazing services, it's just a shame that netflix is the only of the bunch that offers subtitles. Funly enough tho, you don't get Vidzone here, apparently it's only available in Europe. (For those who don't know, vidzone is a free app that lets you watch music videoclips) Quote
Psy Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 We get Netflix here but it only offers a choice of roughly 5 films. Quote
Sprony Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 Bit of light reading whilst I'm on dinner at work How is it? Have you read the first one as well? I'm loving the TV series and might be interested in picking this up. Quote
Beck Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 How is it? Have you read the first one as well? I'm loving the TV series and might be interested in picking this up. Yeah I have read the first one and it's great! Far more brutal than the show and the characters are way more interesting. It's very different to the show in some places (the show only loosely follows the comics) so it's not like you're going to be reading the same stuff that happened in the TV show again. You also find out what happened during the winter months since they've missed that out of the tv show. The comics are black and white all the way through I might add, but it in now way detracts from the awesomeness that is going on! Definitely worth picking up both, they will take you up to issue 96 (the comics only recently reached issue 100 so you wont be too far behind the comics picking these up). The first compendium will probably (I'm guessing, depends what they do with the TV show) take you up to the end of season 3 of the TV show. Sprony 1 Quote

Chimeray Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 (edited) Haven't bought much games in the last year... Spending too much time on "timesink" games like League of Legends. Thought I'd quit and get some games I've always wanted now they're cheap! - Red dead redemption GOTY - Batman Arkham City GOTY - Dark Souls prepare to die edition - Ico & Shadow of the colossus bundle - Enslaved - Soul Calibur 5 - Final Fantasy XIII-2 And I want many many more There just isn't enough time pfff, Halo 4, Assassins Creed 3... And a shitload of stuff in my steam library as well. /First world problems. Edited November 3, 2012 by Chimeray Quote
Puddy Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 It's like that old saying... you try to find the time to play games and then you die. Sentura 1 Quote
