Jake Gilla Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 HTC Evo Shift 4G with PDANet, my laptop just tripled in everyday usefulness. Not even gonna talk about how much crap I bought over the Steam Summer Sale. Quote
st0lve Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Got a new bike. Since riding a bike is much more fun than running. What happened to your skateboard To skateboard 4,2km to work, and 4,2 back from work isn't an option I still skate, but I want to build stronger core muscles since I'm mostly in front of a workbench all day, so the bike is my endurance and leg workout. Sentura Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 *looks at mapcore bike thread* -thinks- *looks at fat reserves which are beginning to take form on belly* -thinks- *calculates biking distance to work* 6,5 km man the fuck up, 6.5 is next to nothing. it's ~25 mins at most, and even if the first time is hard, it'll get better over time. a few days ago i biked some 54 kms in a couple of hours JUST BECAUSE I COULD and it was UPHILL BOTH WAYS. also biking rules. st0lve Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 I work for myself, by myself, so being sweaty isn't a problem for me. But to work, there is a 70m altitude drop, so it's not hard, and takes about 10 minutes, pretty much the same as driving (I'll race my brother sometime). Skateboarding the same distance would suck, the asphalt is bad, and I have 50mm wheels (which is pretty small for a skateboard). I probably take 15-20 minutes to get home. Not to derail this thread, I also got an iphone 4 2 weeks ago... Quote
