Got a new bike.

Since riding a bike is much more fun than running.

What happened to your skateboard :(

To skateboard 4,2km to work, and 4,2 back from work isn't an option ;) I still skate, but I want to build stronger core muscles since I'm mostly in front of a workbench all day, so the bike is my endurance and leg workout.

i skated 5km to school and back for over 2 years, wasnt that hard... nice bike though :)

Difference between showing up at work all sweaty and showing up at school all sweaty is pretty high in my opinion.

???

And biking to work wouldn't make you sweaty? I always gotta bring a towel in the morning :P.

man the fuck up, 6.5 is next to nothing. it's ~25 mins at most, and even if the first time is hard, it'll get better over time. a few days ago i biked some 54 kms in a couple of hours JUST BECAUSE I COULD and it was UPHILL BOTH WAYS.

also biking rules.

I work for myself, by myself, so being sweaty isn't a problem for me. But to work, there is a 70m altitude drop, so it's not hard, and takes about 10 minutes, pretty much the same as driving (I'll race my brother sometime). Skateboarding the same distance would suck, the asphalt is bad, and I have 50mm wheels (which is pretty small for a skateboard). I probably take 15-20 minutes to get home.

Not to derail this thread, I also got an iphone 4 2 weeks ago...

It's not that much :P.

It takes me 15-20mins to bike to work and that's 4.6km.
