Tisky Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Yeah i think i´m gonna watch it today. The scene where Cuba Gooding Jr shoots down some Japs screaming is pretty fucking gay though, but every war movie that has Tom Sizemore in it is great! My respect o´meter for Ben Affleck went from almost total zero to holy shit status after watching "The Town". I cannot believe he directed it, now i must see "Gone Baby, Gone" also. The Arrival is not availible in europe it seems Quote
Sindwiller Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 An awesome and hilarious read. The German translation is fine, too Quote
D3ads Posted December 10, 2010 Author Report Posted December 10, 2010 After watching footage including the part in the video I posted in the Russia thread, I just had to get this; Горячие новости (Newsmakers) In Moscow, an enterprising female detective decides to turn a humiliating defeat experienced by her department into a reality-TV show in which the police prep for a counter attack. Features the MVD, OMON and Alfa spetsnaz, a great resource for Russian military! Only cost £5 Quote

Tisky Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 I don´t think blu-ray is better for the picture alone, you gotta have a pretty good sound system with DTS to really get into that movie theater feeling. Quote
Steppenwolf Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I would love to watch more blurays but they are still too expensive imo. I rarely rewatch movies so spending more on a bluray then what i would pay for a cinema ticket hurts a lot. Renting is no option either because all i can rent here are rather new mainstream movies and not the old movies that i'm mostly interested in to watch in higher res then before. Quote
Serenius Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Someone should open a Netflix business in Europe. Makes Blu-Rays a much better experience. Quote
dux Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 BC2 is so easy. I look forward to getting banned lots again. Quote
