Section_Ei8ht Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Realized the other day that I've had my PS3 for about 8 months now and I've never used the Bluray in it. Needed an epic movie to kick off my bluray collection: Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 ive been meaning to do some reading and avoid the computer some. i read a great book (my war by colby buzzell) a few months ago and in it the author mentioned some books that influenced him so i bought a few, throw in another couple that i've been wanting to read, and a couple economics books too since it's my major and i should probably give a crap about it all together, they're pretty expensive, a whopping $138.56 with tax. i guess i could have saved money by buying the books separately, used, from different sellers, and shipping them separately, but im going to get them all new, in one package, with free shipping, with the click of one button. meh. I'll make it back saturday night. 1) The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Presents America (The Book) Teacher's Edition: A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction - Jon Stewart $10.87 2) I Am America (And So Can You!) - Stephen Colbert $10.49 3) Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything (P.S.) - Steven D. Levitt $9.35 4) Generation Kill - Evan Wright $10.20 5) How to Talk Dirty and Influence People - Lenny Bruce $11.92 6) Dispatches - Michael Herr $10.04 7) The Cartoon Introduction to Economics: Volume One: Microeconomics - Yoram Bauman $12.21 Notes of a Dirty Old Man - Charles Bukowski $10.76 9) Post Office - Charles Bukowski $10.80 10) Hot Water Music - Charles Bukowski $11.55 11) Scar Tissue - Anthony Kiedis $10.87 12) Kitchen Confidential Updated Ed: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly (P.S.) - Anthony Bourdain $9.32 anyone have any other suggestions for reading? these will probably keep me occupied for a looong time since im lazy and busy. i suppose this post can be easily overlooked because it doesnt have pictures, but im not getting 12 pictures you fags. Ginger Lord Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Renault Clio GT 128 Went in to buy a second hand used one that they'd got in for me to test drive from another dealership, then 30 mins before I arrived the other dealer sold it. Was the second time it had happened to me so they offered me a brand spanking new one for the same price as the used one I was going to buy. Now skint till job starts Quote
-HP- Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Oh shit, so with all the badluck, you actually turned out lucky! Grats, nice ride. Quote
dux Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 I hope they gave you a right hand drive though Quote
Duff-e Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 the efficient design of that car sickens my American desire for oil consumption. Quote
Ginger Lord Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 If its any consolation, it only does about 35-40mpg instead of the 55-60mpg my old one used to do. Quote
Duff-e Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 what was your old one? a scooter? Quote
Ginger Lord Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Just a normal 1.2 16v car, about average. Now a scooter would get 80-120mpg You'd also die, very quickly. Quote
