Sindwiller Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 <3 catz For some reason, the second pic is just awesome. I don't know why. It just is. Quote
e-freak Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 psycho - like them alot and you improved your imagequality alot since your last portraits Quote

Punky Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 Those people are F*ING scary man maybe you could make facemaps of them for a zombiemod! or make 6 hi-res pics from the cat and make it into a facemap so that you have a character with a cat head! Quote
e-freak Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 I personally favorite http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3220/247 ... dcd5_o.jpg - it has a pretty intense use with DOF on the eyes and masking the nose and the hairs out. Pretty fantastic focus. Quote
Sentura Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 wow man, i really like those pictures. ill probably be using some of them as reference for future sketches. Quote
JeanPaul Posted May 10, 2008 Author Report Posted May 10, 2008 Thanks guys, I am glad you like them. I might use these for a final in my photo class, but I wanted to post them online to see what people generally thought of them first, and it went well Quote
⌐■_■ Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 okay, here's my honest feedback. the flower and the cats are imo cheap and boring. anyone can make those shots with a macrolens plus they show of more of the lensquality then the photographers skill to make interesting frames. the portraits however are quite genious. perfect for a part of an exposition. not sure if this is on purpose, but it has a quite obvious greenish teint to it (probably to make the eyes stand out more?). anyway, i like the portraits very much! JeanPaul Posted May 12, 2008 Author Report Posted May 12, 2008 I agree with you, but its not a macro lens, its a 50mm f/1.8 oh and RG&E plant is awesome, and I am going back Saturday early to get shots of the other 3/4ths of this place Quote
e-freak Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 you're not supposed to post black mesa scree... damn it - this photos have a lot of atmosphere and I like the perspective in most of them. You also improved on shooting this kind of shots alot (if I remember correctly you shot this (or a simmilar) plant at day time previously?) Quote
