Minos Posted August 19, 2008 Author Report Posted August 19, 2008 Thanks for the kind words guys! Did two new paintings today. They are nothing special or inspiring but I'm trying to get quicker so I set myself a time frame of 25 minutes for each one. knj 1 Quote
Satyre Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Good stuff. The second is really good. I love his constitution, looks nice. Your painting own a splendid atmosphere. You have a great mind! I imagine it well in a modern paintings exhibition ^^. Quote
Sentura Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 the first one is really good, you've got the flow in it. i don't like the second one, perhaps because of the lack of perspective. it really kills the painting that there's only 2 dimensions to each building.. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted August 20, 2008 Report Posted August 20, 2008 really like the first one! You should take it further =). Quote
Minos Posted August 20, 2008 Author Report Posted August 20, 2008 Thanks guys! Yeah I really like the idea of the first one, however the realization was very poor since it was a 20min painting. Anyways it's a great start for a full painting. @sentura: Yeah I agree. My main goal with that one was to test a few brushes I made + to learn to integrate photo-textures into my paintings, just like peris did with his Blade Runner painting. I failed miserably though Quote

Minos Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Posted August 27, 2008 Another one. My goal was to practise perspective and using photos/textures: Quote
Pericolos0 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 awesome! Try finding a nice quick brush to paint clouds/fog/dust with and you can make this a lot more awesome =) Quote
