3dmax: How to add additional faces onto UV map?

Quick question: I am uving a model and realized that when I created the uv I forgot to attach a small piece of geometry to the rest of the model. Is there a way to attach it without having to restart the UV?

There's also a checkbox in editable poly "Preserve UVs". But I'd recommend converting them to edit mesh, since the chances you will get your uvs screwed are a lot smaller.
