-HP-
A couple of months ago, we all got to know that Eidos’ new Montreal studio will be developing the third part in the Deus Ex saga as their first project. After watching their teaser on their official website, I must admit that I'm very looking forward to this game, more than anything at the moment. Although, after the huge fail of DX:IW, I'm a little bit worried whether or not Montreal studio is up to the task of making the sequel of the best game ever made! (in my humble opinion, of course) On a interview to 1UP, Stephane D'Astous said that not a single member in the team was a former Ion Storm employee, so everyone taking part of the development of this 3rd DX is fresh meat, not even Warren Spector, but after he did on DX:IW I don't even think I would like too... although they made sure that everyone involved in the development of the game is a DeusEx1 fan... Mmmm... Let's see... I just hope they don't screw this up, again! Here's the first official concept art from the game:
dux
I don't think there's any possible way that this can live up to the original, but at least it will hopefully be better than the second. Although I like to pretend #2 was never made.
