hi, im releasing a map ive been working on for a while named de_monte.

the map is set in an almost completely abandoned mountain village

story:

A mining company linked with the mafia believes the area under the village to be a big mining prospect. But a few of the locals refuse to sell there land.

The company decides to hire terrorists to try to scare the last remaing villagers off by blowing up one of the village's two statues.

The police gets a tip of the attempt and arrives at the same time...

my main focus has been on the maps gameplay and balance

Certainly true as I initially thought it was a 1.6 map. There's nothing I can really say apart from the obvious, really. Brushwork is fine, it just seriously lacks detail and any kind of lighting. Though I'm just commenting from a graphical standpoint, from the overview it certainly seems to have flow which is what you were aiming for.

The map looks peaceful and nice but it has a lack of detail, so add more props also I noticed something unusual in the 6t screen shot, you have sideways(from stone) and a grass way in between the sideways and that looks kinda odd, you should make the street from stone too.
