Their whole "choose your preferred controller" thing is BS though, as it's already been confirmed some of the moves won't be feasible on the gamepads. Oh and that wheel is priced at 15 USD, which is a total ripoff for a piece of plastic.

I think Mario Kart DS is fine for me. Apart from the piece of plastic they include then it looks like any other 3D Mario Kart :G

yeah i am not getting this. i'd rather get a real racing game than play any more mario kart on a stationary console. mariokart is fun on ds though.

I'll get it because it has online play, which is something I've sorely missed since I got a new router that hates my DS. Mario Kart online is superb.

I think it looks like a decent sequel.. though after this I can't really see them doing anymore with this franchise... mario kart galaxies? racing spaceships or something?

What i see different is:

-new items

-new tracks

-new vehicles

-online play (this one being the reason to buy I would think)

yeah DS mario kart has online play but I dont really like the interface of that online playing.

Yeah, snaking really pissed me off in Mario Kart DS. It's just not proper racing IMO, regardless of whether or not it's simply using the tools given to you.

I have such fond memories of playing Super Mario Kart with my dad that they probably have me for life.. but I guess that's where you guys have a point.. it's not really innovating upon itself too much with this one (so it seems.. unlike Double Dash).. and it's more appealing to people who already know the game and know what to expect and hey guess what? it's online now.
