InsaneSingingBlender Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 I'm going to buy from the stores. It's a way better. right, since its the same exact game. Quote
JynxDaddy Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Yes, I think most people are under the assumption that having hl2 on a cd means they will always be able to play it, no matter what happens. But all you are buying is the cdkey that will be tied to your steam account, and a hard copy of the cache (basically) So there is no real advantage to buying it at the store. Quote
OL Posted October 12, 2004 Author Report Posted October 12, 2004 i dont want to pay for a file on a computer i want a box and a manual and a disc and the case that the disc goes in Quote

GrayFox Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Maybe ppl were like this when they were first introduced to the bank cards. "Oh no, I don't want a crappy card. I need to feel the money in my hands." It appears that freaking out because things change does not only apply to CS. Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 box = stickers steam = no stickers i think the answer is quite obvious...box Quote
