Hi guys,

Heres another map we have been working on for awhile.

With the AAME we cant import textures or models.So we have been content with building all with Brushes and converting too Meshes.Some of these meshes have taken along time too build.

So this map has taken me abit of time.

Now we have a few mappers on our team who will begin working on this map versy soon once evasion is complete.

Hehe again your BSP work is lovely, the lighting is actually good this time but you have a dark sky, A sunset would work with the lighting alot more. Youe lighting affecton the second picture doesnt seem to work, are you using projectiles? If so I really suggest you make it less blurry. On the sandy terrain areas you could change the terrain texture a little where the rocks/trees/wood go into the sand. Your river could have a few emitters faking more movement and mist over the river, maybe a fog plane too. Are you using the plane that moves like water? Your boat really doesnt work, I suggest you replace it with somthing else (sorry for brutness) its just very wrong. But this is alot better, keep it up!

Lol Thnaks for comments.I agree lol my boat :):) yea I made it with bsp so its kinda kidish.Hopefully one day we can import models.Which I cant do but would learn if that was the case.

The water is a moving texture on a sheet with another under it .I was trying too make it alittle deep feeling too it.

We also have min imal textures too use :( So im kinda stuck on a few things I try my best too change around rescale flip and so on too look new and different..

    • [CS:GO] Shore
      One of the projects I worked on after I made de_austria.

      Yeah, I know the timing is really bad (CS2!), but can't change it... 🙁

      In general a lot went wrong during this project. Had a lot of problems with the layout, but I think I found a good compromise in the end. Also learned many new things. Maybe I would even be ready to create a really good map now after all, but I think that it's gonna be the final one. I really like making maps, but it has become too time consuming over the years for just being a hobby. Unfortunately I never managed to get a job in the games industry. So that's it. I hope it's a worthy ending of 20 years of making maps for me. 🙂

      Shore is a bomb defusal map for CS:GO that takes place on Lofoten Islands, Norway. (Also have a Hostage version of this that works well imo)
