Just wanted to give a small update.
Had some stomach issues for the past two weeks and was not active on my computer, but ended up blocking out some of my layout before.
I plan to start working again on making some basic models and finishing my layout, and will post progress here when it is done.

i'm also using this competition to work on my first map. glad to see i'm not alone! good luck and can't wait to see what you come up with.

Just don't worry about the results. 
If it is your first maps, than this experience will benefit you for sure!
I mean, to look what people are cooking up. I even start to consider joining the competition.
Because what is the point?
Wrong. It will benefit me. I just need to cook up a decent layout and idea. And Start to make it!

Starting work on my first map, so I have low expectations. I hope to create a hostage map inside a giant sports arena, going close to the field, through a food court, inside merchandise shops, and other unique areas. My only goal is just to finish the map, regardless of placement in this contest.

Looks amazing, cant wait to see the final submission 👀
