  1. watching Yanzl do the things he does with substance designer on his stream was enough to persuade me to buy this software so far I've used it to make a few textures for de_sydney, and some other textures just for learning that's just one image, open the spoiler for a few more
  2. i learned to model in a few months, and i think its allowed me more creative freedom than ive ever had screenshot from de_sydney, a wingman man made my T-R3x3r and i im in charge of the art, and honestly i have taken a while to get the map to the point that it is at (8 months so far), but i am speeding up steadily
  3. spent some time learning how to make custom models for a CSGO wingman map. I was left with some pretty cool final products

    Really good stuff It's kinda weird, but I noticed the tower you have is very similar to one I made It's a tower somewhere in Morocco, I forget exactly where Maybe we used similar references, or maybe it's just a generic tower design

    That was a mistake from the old version of the map, I never noticed it was still there. It's pretty primitive, but we're working on that area in a newer version, so hopefully no more playerclip displacements Also, I noticed that the water is black for you, why is that? some people have had that problem during the playtest, but not everyone.
  7. i remade an old map of mine i also just wanted some practice this is playable, but im uploading it to the workshop later

  9. Ok, I removed a lot of corners, made B easier for terrorists, and removed an extra path in T spawn. I also added a radar!
  10. the overview that i posted had a lot of the slopes full black, so I need a new one... I'm mostly going to work on simplifying the layout I guess. in game the only verticality-intensive areas are ct spawn and A's connector
  11. another update. made the entire map bigger overall, had some scaling problems. New overview
